Water

Bendigo is one of few towns of it's size in the world without a water source. Over the past fifteen years we have embraced water saving, especially in the garden. We are coming to realise that water 'restrictions' should really be called 'not wasting water.'

Climate change and water: Bendigo already has 11% less rain than it used to. We can expect to get even less rain, less days with rain and have more extreme rain events into the future. Click for Bendigo specific climate change information.
