Ban the Bulb

Throughout the month of October, Bendigo Bank is running a Generation Green™ Ban the Bulb program.

Ban the Bulb…

Home and business owners can sign up at the branch and then volunteers will visit them and change their current bulbs over to new energy efficient ones free of charge.  Interested?  Call into your local branch of Bendigo Bank to “book-in” your house or business for the program.  Globes will be installed on a “first-in” basis, limited supplies available.  Trudi O'Donnell, Customer Relationship Manager, Bendigo Bank - 5447 9244

Hint
Cycling = Health benefits
Cycling is mainly an aerobic activity, which means that your heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a workout. You will breathe deeper, perspire and experience increased body temperature, thereby improving your overall fitness level. Cycling will also:     * Develop your fitness without joint stress     * Increase aerobic fitness     * Improve muscle tone and strength     * Help prevent disease (heart disease, diabetes)     * Manage weight     * Heighten energy levels     * Manage pain     * Assist in reducing stress, anxiety and depression, partly through the physical activity itself, but also due to the pleasure and satisfaction of riding a bike.
