Allan's Walk EcoLiving Center is open Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm. Located right in the heart of town it is ideal to drop in between doing errands down the street or during lunch hour.
It kinda looks like a shop, but Allan's Walk is a place to do the research before you shop for home sustainable solutions. This week we got stuck into thinking about an unusual roof insulation solution using roof top planting! Tackling wall insulation options for older homes, whose walls are not insulated! Water tanks, local solar hot water bulk buy, the Bendigo EcoLiving Directory, and heating options! Not to mention thermal paint, grey water, energy efficient fridges and floor insulation!
